Production safeguards / Updated 3 October 2026

Discreet production.
Clear boundaries.

These are service safeguards, not legal advice or a certification of compliance. A qualified legal reviewer must approve the jurisdiction and scope before a political project is accepted. U.S. election-related orders are currently on hold pending counsel-approved scope.

1. Eligibility before payment

We require the legal identity of the sponsor, an authorized representative, the election or issue jurisdiction, intended distribution channels, deadline and named legal reviewer. We review sanctions, rights, provider restrictions and payment eligibility. We may decline a project. Sending an enquiry is not acceptance, and this page is not an offer of unrestricted campaign services.

2. U.S. election-related boundaries

Filmito is based in India. U.S. foreign-national restrictions cover direct or indirect participation in election-related decision-making. We cannot assume that an ordinary production contract makes every service permissible. U.S. election-related projects are not accepted or charged until counsel has confirmed an eligible scope. An authorized U.S. campaign team must retain all strategy, message, expenditure, targeting and publishing decisions. Production work is performed only within a reviewed, written scope.

3. Claims, identities and AI

We do not create fabricated evidence or depict invented real-world events as genuine. We do not impersonate real people, clone their voice or likeness without authorization, or make voter-suppression content. Campaign-supplied facts need sources and approval. AI footage, voices and images require rights review, documented permission where applicable, and the disclosures required for the intended jurisdiction and platform.

4. Confidential does not mean anonymous

We do not publish campaign work or identify clients for marketing without written permission. Confidentiality does not override sponsor disclaimers, platform verification, necessary production-provider access, lawful disclosure or recordkeeping. Required sponsor wording must remain in the delivered versions.

5. Production is not publishing permission

No worldwide placement is guaranteed. Google and Meta restrict political advertising in the European Union; other countries and platforms have separate rules. The authorized campaign team must confirm placement eligibility and all final approvals. Filmito does not provide media buying, voter targeting or campaign management through these packages.

6. Price, scope and acceptance

Published campaign production rates match the existing Filmito rate card. They exclude legal fees and media spend. Turnaround begins only after eligibility, scope, assets, required approvals and payment are confirmed. A scope review is not a guarantee of acceptance or an election outcome. Accepted projects receive written deliverables and payment terms; existing service terms and the refund policy apply where agreed.

7. Private production records

Before launch, Filmito must define who can access sponsor documents, approval records and production assets, which providers receive them, and how long each record is retained. Campaign materials are not submitted to public showcases without permission. Do not send sensitive voter data or identity documents through the general enquiry form.

8. Questions and review

For an initial scope review, contact shivam@filmito.io. Provide the jurisdiction, authorized sponsor and production request, not voter lists. These safeguards need qualified legal review before U.S. election-related work can be booked.
